Pro Helvetia New Delhi

supports and disseminates Swiss arts and culture in South Asia. We promote cultural exchange, develop and nurture long-term partnerships, initiate co-productions and support residencies.

Residencies

We offer Swiss art practitioners the possibility of a residency in South Asia. In return, artists from South Asia are given an opportunity to go to Switzerland for a studio residency or research trip.

Applications

We promote artistic and cultural collaboration between India and Switzerland, acting as a link between cultural projects from Switzerland and local promoters, initiating co-productions with cultural practitioners and supporting residencies for artists. All applications for projects between Switzerland and India must be submitted through the application portal myprohelvetia.

Offices abroad

The Swiss Arts Council Pro Helvetia maintains a network of offices around the world. They support ongoing cultural exchange between Switzerland and the countries or regions concerned.

The cultural centres present Swiss arts in international hubs of cultural life. The liaison offices initiate and nurture contacts between cultural practitioners from Switzerland and other global regions, and contribute to the dialogue between cultures.

Upcoming maintenance work

The application portal myprohelvetia will be updated from 1.1.-7.1.2024. Due to these changes, open applications must be finalized and submitted via the current online portal (myprohelvetia.ch) by the latest 23:59 on 31 December 2023. Until this date, the deadlines and criteria outlined in the current guidelines and calls for applications apply. New applications can be created and submitted in the application portal as of 8 January 2024.
