Aqui Thami is an Indigenous artist based in Mumbai. She uses social exchanges and develops safe spaces to position art as a medium of healing in community. She is a founding member of Dharavi Art Room, Bombay Underground, and Sister Library.

During her residency in Switzerland, Aqui plans to collaborate with feminist organizations to engage with and learn from the community, as well as create prints, zines, and radio interventions. She also wants to work on developing a board game that encourages players to reflect on their own experiences and create opportunities for them to empathize with others in society.
