Mara Züst (b. 1976, Zurich) is an artist, cultural pedagogue (author and outreach project developer), and researcher residing in Zurich. She holds a diploma in Visual Communication from Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) (2005), an MA History of Art/History of Modern Area from the University of Zurich (2014) and completed the CAS Arts and International Cooperation at ZHdK (2018). Since 2022 she has been working for artasfoundation at the Centre for Art and Peacebuilding (CAP) / ZHdK and is in charge of the estate of the artist Andreas Züst, so the Bibliothek Andreas Züst and its residency program. Her current greatest passions are developing tools in the field of cultural pedagogy incorporating hands-on print production and publishing as collective working modes (Mini-Zine-Library, since 2019, India, Pakistan, and Switzerland, or Chapakhana Archive, 2022 in Bangladesh and Switzerland). Furthermore, she regularly publishes books combining research, text, and images in a unique design, with feminist point of view.
