In 2013, he published his first work of fiction ‘Kurz vor der Erlösung’ (On the Verge of Salvation), which was followed 2 years later by his second work ‘Simeliberg’ a literary thriller, which won the Kelag Prize at the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in 2014. Michael is also a storyteller and supports ‘Babelsprech’ and ‘Treibhaus’, two initiatives to promote young German speaking poetry and literature.
