October - December 2021 — Visual Arts
Mizanur Rahman Chowdhury’s interdisciplinary practice plays with different languages – ranging from installation, assemblage, movement, video, collage, sculpture, found footage, experimental film – to conjure multifaceted artistic universes. As an inter-media artist, he creates space with still and moving content, archival and contemporary imagery. The work process is intuitive, adaptive, fluid and ongoing and influences come from everyday life. He plays in-between the structural and ephemerality, investigates visible and invisible energy fields or different forms of forces.

He received Samdani Art Award 2018 with a residency in Delfina Foundation, London, which is among the most competitive art awards for emerging Bangladeshi artists.
