How To Live Together?

How can we build spaces in which one recognizes and respects the individual rhythms of the other? How can we use our existing work and archives and build on from, instead of being pressured to produce anew?
Under the “To-Gather” umbrella, “How To Live Together?” is a project organised by HH Art Spaces in collaboration with Galerie 3000, Britto Arts Trust, and Theertha International Artists’ collective and is curated by Mario D’Souza.
The project seeks to conjure tender frameworks of living together, producing responsibly and learning from each other, through forms of distance and intimacy. The project is divided into two phases. The first is where artists work with each other from their homes and create an experience of their cities and contexts for the other participants through the internet and other modes of communication. Here they see through the eyes of the other. In Phase 2, they all gather in Goa, to produce encounters emerging from these engagements and conversations.
Staged across Goa, Bern, Dhaka and Colombo, the project will culminate in a performance art festival in Goa in 2024.
