Ludicious – Zürich Game Festival 2019

Pro Helvetia invited game developers, designers and artists from India to apply for an opportunity to attend the Ludicious – Zürich Game Festival. The objective was to enable Indian game developers to explore and research the gaming landscape in Switzerland and to build prospective networks.

The Ludicious Zürich Game Festival team and Pro Helvetia New Delhi are happy to announce that the following three game developers have been selected to attend the Game festival in January 2019:

Amit Goyal / SuperSike Games
Avinash Kumar / Quicksand Design Studio
Zainuddeen Fahadh / Ogre Head Studio

A short list of submissions to Pro Helvetia New Delhi’s call for projects were reviewed by the festival’s leadership team: Tobias Kopka, Artistic Director and Michael Reaney, Managing Director of Ludicious Zürich Game Festival.

Candidates were selected not only on their skills and qualifications, but also on the strength of the projects they submitted in their applications. Their projects demonstrated high production values and artistic quality achieved with relatively small teams. These match well to Ludicious, which has established itself as an important European showcase event for games and interactive media of distinction.

“We are delighted with the choice of candidates in the Indian delegation. Whilst in Zürich they will have the opportunity to meet a range of artists, designers, publishers and other industry figures and exchange across numerous events.” – Tobias Kopka, Artistic Director Ludicious Zürich Game Festival
