Residencies Overview
Pro Helvetia launched a call for residencies in Switzerland and Southern Asia that was open until 1 March 2022. Furthermore, cultural practitioners can apply for research trips all year long.
Promoting creative exchange between Switzerland and Southern Asia: Pro Helvetia supports residencies and research trips by cultural practitioners from Switzerland (e.g. artists, curators, event organisers, intermediaries) to Southern Asia. In addition, Pro Helvetia supports residencies and research trips to Switzerland by cultural practitioners from Southern Asia. Artists and cultural practitioners from the following fields may apply: visual arts, design and interactive media, music, literature, the performing arts and artists with a transdisciplinary focus.
Funding is available for:
- Residencies: These last for a maximum of three months and are advertised once a year (application deadline: 1 March 2022. Deadline has passed).
- Research trips: These are limited to four weeks. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, but should be submitted at the latest three months before the start of the trip.
