HEIDI comes to Indian homes!

The Hindi version of the Swiss classic HEIDI written by Johanna Spyri will soon be accessible to numerous Indian children, for the first time. Published by A & A Book Trust, the book will be launched at the Bookaroo Children’s Book Festival in Delhi and Jaipur, and then be distributed in smaller Indian towns.

In editor Arundhati Deosthale’s words, “the story is timeless and can be enjoyed by all who celebrate pastoral beauty in nature and innocence and goodness in people.” HEIDI has been translated into Hindi by Avanti Devasthale and carries illustrations by Ashok Raj.
